Job Summary:

  • To support CCRIS Manager to ensure Affin Hwang Investment Bank (AHIB) complies with CCRIS Guidelines and the timeline for data submission to BNM.
  • Indirectly, to support the CCRIS Manager in assisting the Head of Reporting (HOR) to oversee the management of credit reporting via CCRIS as well as institute and implement mechanisms (including internal controls and frameworks) to ensure compliance with requirements in this policy document, including:
  1. establishing a mechanism to monitor and identify any weakness in data management which would jeopardise AHIB’s compliance with BNM requirements;
  2. advising on the appropriate remedial actions in an effective and timely manner;
  3. implementing the approved remedial actions in an effective and timely manner; and
  4. Resolve any operational issues and challenges staff face in preparing the CCRIS data submission.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure CCRIS processing is within the Internal Processing timeline and meets BNM requirements, in particular, i.e. the CCRIS submission deadlines set out in BNM.
  • Ensure the data entry (i.e. i-Vest and InREport) information contained in the credit application and credit account information is complete and accurate before submission to BNM.
  • Preparing the Data Quality Report (DQR) and Justification For Amendments (JFA).
  • Reconciling the DQR against the Outbound Report (OBR) furnished by BNM.
  • To share and update all the CCRIS issues to the CCRIS Manager that require further deliberation. (as and when required).
  • Hand-on training from time to time by providing guidance and on-the-job training to staff of the unit on CCRIS matters.
  • Upon request to support the CCRIS Manager to support training to all staff involved in CCRIS, including but not limited to CCRIS Support Staff, Data Owners, Finance, Compliance, Audit and Senior Management/ Board of Directors.
  • Assist the CCRIS Manager to document all significant discussions with BNM and other stakeholders and maintain all communications, policies/ guidelines/ FAQs/notifications/requests for proper records and files.
  • To assist the CCRIS Manager in Draft, updating and periodically reviewing all SOPs and SLAs

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Business or Management or Finance-related discipline.
  • Minimum 8-10 years experience working (with CCRIS knowledge is an advantage).
  • In-depth knowledge of Banking practice/procedures/methods/systems / regulatory reporting.
  • Working knowledge of the laws/regulations governing financial institutions.
  • Sound knowledge of risk management.
  • Comprehension of general account practice and reporting requirements for banks.
  • Good knowledge of Group CCRIS operations strategy and its components/services.
  • Good knowledge of the industry impact of the CCRIS reporting/usage.
  • Analytical power with good judgment and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentations skills.
