Job Responsibilities

Our payment company is seeking a Senior Channel & Partnerships Specialist to accelerate channel expansion, strengthen partnerships, and ensure merchant satisfaction through data-driven insights. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, optimizing partner/merchant performance, and enhancing merchant retention. We are looking for an individual who is eager and passionate about the payment industry, and ready to contribute to our company's success.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Merchant Success & Business Analysis

  • Build and implement partner/merchant health performance metrics, collaborate with data team to enhance internal dashboard to ease analysis works.
  • Analyze merchant performance metrics/data and identify areas for improvement, offering strategic insights and recommendations for optimizing payment processes and driving revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with business team & high-value merchants to understand needs, analyze pain points, and improve company's merchants’ satisfaction and retention.
  • Prepare reports on business performance (transaction volume, transaction success rate, merchant activation rates) and actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct competitive analysis reports for leadership, highlighting actionable insights for growth and optimization.
  • Develop and maintain payment feature roadmaps, using data to inform prioritization decisions.


Channel Expansion & Product Optimization

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential channel partners that align with the company's strategic objectives and market trends. Prioritize tasks in line with project timelines, ensuring key milestones are met.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, including negotiation of commercial & contract terms, fostering ongoing collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create channel programs and initiatives to drive channel (payment method) engagement and sales growth.
  • Monitor and analyze channel performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist with creating materials, presentations, and other guidelines to support sales efforts of channels, products/features.


Business Partnership & Management

  • Nurture and maintain relationships with partners/clients, conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess performance, address issues, and unlock new growth opportunities.
  • Foster ongoing collaboration with partners, including negotiation of contract terms, and ensuring partner satisfaction through regular check-ins, and proactively resolving technical/operational/process inefficiencies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all raised issues or project deliverables are met within specified timelines.
  • Educate partners on product and channel trends to enhance their effectiveness in selling our offerings.
  • Assist with clients/partners on managing issues resolution, eg. critical or urgent technical/onboarding operational issues.


Requirements

  • Candidate must be possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/ Advanced/ Higher/ Graduated Diploma in Business / IT / Marketing / Analyst or equivalent.
  • At least 3-5 year(s) of work experience in related Fintech, Financial Services or Payment Industry field is required.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing technologies, merchant services, and industry best practices.
  • Self-initiative and able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and proven ability to managing multiple / competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Analysis mindset, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Required Language (s) : Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin
