Senior Contract Executive

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Overall be responsible to oversee tender department and full spectrum of QS jobs.
• Preparation of PreQ and tender submission
• Prepare and control overall project budgets, construction costs, progress claims/payment, variation orders and final accounts in accordance with work standards.
• Checking and auditing of bills of quantities and other tender documents. Ensure that the measurement of quantities for building materials specified for the BQ accurately reflects the specifications and drawings prepared by architects and engineers.
• Ensure tender procedures and contract arrangements are complied with company policies and procedures. Organize the registration of contractors and the shortlisting of contractors of tenders.
• Organize the calling of tenders, check tender evaluation and preparation of award reports.
• Participate in pre-contract negotiations and tenders interviews.
• Source for pricing from supplier/contractor and work out competitive tender prices.
• Regular cost monitoring of projects including variations to ensure construction cost are within the agreed budgets.
• Any other adhoc requirements that are relevant.

Requirements:

• Qualification :Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Quantity Surveyor or equivalent
• Experience: At least 8 year(s) of working experience in the related field
• Possess strong in pre & post contract knowledge, negotiation and tender skills
• Willing to work at Kota Kinabalu Sabah
• Contract basis
