Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Ensure manufacturability already in the product development phase by supporting running development projects and take ownership of dedicated deliverables of the product development flow
• Support and drive the assessment of field returns and production deviations, e.g. coordinating further steps as physical and electrical failure analysis including their technical interpretation
• Take responsibility for special lot clearance and actively manage associated risks
• Identify and drive cost reduction potentials for released products, e.g. through reduction of test costs and evaluating technical implications
• Responsible for yield optimization for released products covering multiple frontend and backend production sites
• Become an expert in statistical data evaluation, strive for continuous improvement of our methodology and tooling landscape to enable the entire product engineering team
• Align technical evaluations, conclusions and derived decisions with a wide variety of cross-functional stakeholders in an international, multicultural working environment
  
  

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• A degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Physics, Microelectronics, Semiconductor Technology), a PhD would be a plus or any related equivalent field.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally within the role of Product Engineering
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good methodology development skills
• Knowledge of scripting tools, such as Python or VBA would be a plus
• Fluent English communication skills and desire to learn German
• Excellent decision-making as well as communication skills in a complex matrix organization and customer/stakeholder management
