Senior Executive - Marketing

The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical thinker. They will be able to conduct insightful market research to establish a marketing strategy that will effectively reach the target audience. They should be comfortable evaluating the marketing process, and work to critique and improve its outcomes. 

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end marketing campaigns, events, and promotions, incorporating creative retail concepts, and partnerships, and manage relevant stakeholders & agencies to achieve company objectives and KPIs.
• Proactively pursue new networks and clientele through strategic partnerships and business development to drive mall growth and explore new business opportunities.
• Seek out strategic partnerships with International/National brands and trending opportunities to enhance mall traffic and engagement.
• Proactively pursue monetary and product sponsorships from brands for campaigns while identifying new trends and opportunities to enhance the value of events and campaigns in the mall.
• Manage selected retail trade categories and assist retailers with marketing activities and support, fostering good rapport and relationships with retailers.
• Manage promotional and advertising revenue through events and advertising.
• Optimization and occupancy of advertising spaces and upkeep of digital and static marketing mediums of the mall.
• Preparation of campaign & event reports and competitive review of other malls/events/competitors.
• Assist in Sunway Malls campaigns & projects.
• Handle additional special projects, tasks, and duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma or Professional Certificate Marketing or equivalent.
• At least two years of Marketing/Retail/Event Experience.
• Demonstrate competency in marketing & events, identify opportunities and new partnerships.
• Has exposure to Innovation related events & campaigns.
• Passionate towards materializing events and campaigns.
• Interest in networking and growing clientele database across industries.
• Has an understanding of the mall landscape and interest in growing in the mall industry.
• Having prior experience in Mall Marketing Management is considered an advantage.
