Senior Executive, Payroll (5 Months Contract)

Job Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Accurately process monthly payroll for all employees, including salary, allowances, deductions and other payroll-related calculations
• Time and Attendance: Ensuring timely and accurate data entry of payroll information, including employee details, timesheets, and attendance records, to maintain precise payroll records.
• Compliance: Liaise with government agencies and other relevant parties to ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations and requirements.
• Report: Prepare and submit all necessary payroll reports and documents. Generate and distribute monthly payroll reports, statutory reports, and any additional ad hoc payroll-related reports required by the HR, Finance departments.
• Audit: Support audit processes by providing payroll documentation and reports.
• System Updates: Maintain and update employee records, including leave, overtime, and other relevant information.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve payroll processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Work Experience: 5 years of payroll processing, preferably in manufacturing environment with payroll software (i-Flexi systems is advantages).
• Strong attention to details and accuracy in processing high-volume payroll.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian payroll regulations and statutory requirements.
• Knowledgeable in Employment Act, Malaysia Labor Law and practice, Statutory requirement, and other related legislation.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of employees.
• Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel and and payroll software (i-Flexi).
