Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial close, budget planning, and forecasting cycles to ensure timely input from operational sites and facilitate effective management review.
- Compile and analyze comprehensive financial statements from multiple locations, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries.
- Monitor cross-functional team objectives and support progress toward performance targets.
- Create market intelligence reports to inform strategic decision-making.
- Provide regional support on accounting-related tasks as required.
- Collaborate with internal teams as a financial advisor to support business decisions.
- Assist users with finance system-related inquiries and troubleshooting.
- Ensure consistency and alignment of intercompany financial data across systems globally.
- Deliver training sessions on financial systems and tools to internal staff.
- Develop long-term financial models to assess current and future program sales and volume trends.
- Perform various additional tasks and special projects as assigned by management.
Key Requirements:
- Possess professional affiliation / membership with a recognised accounting body i.e. ACCA / CPA / ICAEW.
- Possess at least 7 years of relevant and people management experience from the manufacturing industry including prior career in external audit with an established audit firm.
- Multilingual and strong in languages such as Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin and etc.
