Tasks & responsibilities

. **Financial Planning and Analysis:**

- Develop and oversee financial planning processes.

- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

- Monitor financial performance and provide insights to senior management.

2. **Financial Reporting:**

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).

- Present financial reports to stakeholders, including senior management and the board.

3. **Cash Flow Management:**

- Monitor cash flow and liquidity positions.

- Manage working capital to ensure the organization can meet its short-term obligations.

- Develop strategies to optimize cash flow.

4. **Budget Management:**

- Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

- Track budget performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.

- Analyze variances between budgeted and actual results.

5. **Risk Management:**

- Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

- Conduct financial audits and coordinate with external auditors.

6. **Team Management:**

- Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring professional development.

- Oversee day-to-day financial operations and processes.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

7. **Tax and Compliance:**

- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.

- Prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.

- Implement best practices for tax planning and management.

8. **Stakeholder Communication:**

- Communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

- Build relationships with external parties, such as banks, investors, and regulatory agencies.

- Participate in meetings with the board of directors and other key stakeholders.
