The Senior HR Specialist, ASEAN is responsible for supporting our associates in Southeast Asia countries. This onsite role will provide comprehensive wing to wing HR support, from onboarding to offboarding, payroll and benefits administration as well as employment engagement.
This position reports to the Senior HR Business Partner and is part of the Cytiva HR function and will be an on-site role based in Malaysia, Petaling Jaya.
This position is being offered through Pall, a Danaher group company providing services in Malaysia to beneficiary Cytiva.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- End-to-end Employee Lifecycle Management: Provide wing-to-wing HR support for activities spanning from onboarding, offboarding, cross-border activities for new hires and transferees including immigration, pre-employment medical check-ups, and Day 1 orientation. Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related queries.
- Payroll and Benefits Management: Oversee all payroll-related activities, including new employee setup, data maintenance, payroll queries, and benefits program enrolment. Ensure accurate payroll processing by collaborating with payroll partners. Backup the ANZ Specialist for payroll administration.
- Onboarding and Cross-Border Activities: Manage onboarding and cross-border activities for new hires and transferees, including immigration, pre-employment medical check-ups, and Day 1 orientation. Serve as the first point of contact for employee HR-related queries.
- HR Vendor and Reporting Management: Act as the main contact for HR vendors, handling contracts, invoices, and payments. Provide various employee information and reports, such as HR metrics, compliance reporting, and training tracking, while maintaining confidentiality.
- Workday Expertise and Event Support: Serve as a local expert on Workday, providing coaching to associates and managers, and supporting events like benefits enrolment and employee engagement activities. Assist the HRBP with HR activities, including projects and employee relations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in HR and 3 years in payroll and benefits administration.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws in Malaysia.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
