Senior, Hybrid Cloud Network Planner

Role Summary

We are seeking a strategic and technically skilled Hybrid Cloud Network Planner / Cloud Network Strategy Lead to design, plan, and optimize networking across our hybrid cloud environments. This role will focus on secure, scalable, and high-performance connectivity between cloud and on-premises systems, while aligning with enterprise architecture and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain network topologies across hybrid environments (on-prem, public cloud, multi-cloud).
• Plan on network route path, resiliency of network paths, and traffic flow strategies.
• Design and plan optimum network IP scheme for cloud projects.
• Define and manage connectivity models (VPN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, SD-WAN).
• Develop long-term network strategies aligned with cloud adoption and business goals.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud-native networking technologies and services.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure network readiness.
• Review and design ingress and egress of network traffic to ensure sufficient security controls are implemented.
• Work closely with the CISO to align with enterprise security policies.
• Collaborate with Cloud Architects to ensure network designs support overall cloud architecture.
• Provide input on network dependencies for infrastructure, security and application designs.
• Monitor and optimize network performance (latency, throughput, availability).
• Plan for scalability, redundancy, and disaster recovery in network design.
• Maintain network design documentation, standards, and best practices.
• Support audits and compliance efforts by providing network-related evidence and insights.
  
  

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of working experience in on prem and cloud.
• Degree in Network Administration / Cloud & Network Engineering / Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent
• Proven experience in enterprise network planning and cloud networking.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid connectivity.
• Familiarity with network security tools and principles (VPN, firewalls, Zero Trust).
• Experience with automation tools (Terraform, Ansible) and monitoring platforms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
• Preferred Certifications
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty
• Azure Network Engineer Associate
• Cisco CCNP/DevNet or equivalent
• Cloud Security or Architecture certifications (optional but beneficial)
