Senior Product Designer

Responsibilities

Osome is looking for a talented Product Designer to help create delightful experiences that will free up time for entrepreneurs and support them in building successful, sustainable businesses.

As a Product Designer at Osome, your mission is to create an intuitive and engaging experience for entrepreneurs from day one of using our product - helping them to establish the good habits that will enable them to build successful, sustainable businesses and get the most out of Osome.

What You'll Do

Work with Design, Product and Development teams to improve the quality and adoption of Osome’s core features on both web and mobile.

Collaborate with your team to define the problem we want to solve, gather insights and generate a suite of viable solutions.

Continually seek to identify new improvement opportunities by monitoring how our product satisfies our clients’ needs and preferences.

Own the creation of design deliverables including user journeys, wireframes, prototypes and development-ready designs and specifications both for web and mobile.

Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the company to ensure alignment of goals and deliver high-quality holistic experiences.

Help and contribute to advocating the strong design culture across our organisation.

Who You Are

At least 3 years experience working as part of collaborative cross-functional teams shipping world-class digital products.

Demonstrable experience working across the end-to-end design process through strong case studies.

Strong visual design skills for iOS, Android, and web platforms, with a focus on mobile-first experiences

High UX focus and understanding of human behaviour

Experience organising and running user interviews, creating interactive prototypes, and conducting usability testing to validate and iterate on design solutions

Prior experience designing and maintaining cross-platform design systems

The ability to understand technical implications in their design decisions

Proficient in English.

Motion design skills using tools like Principle, Protopie, or After Effects; experience working with Lottie animations is a big plus.

Experience working in the FinTech industry (ideally scaleup or startup)
