Job Description
- Lead and oversee general ledger and RTR activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and best practices across all processes.
- Drive system migration and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability within the Shared Services environment.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for RTR processes, providing guidance and knowledge transfer to the team during transformation projects.
- Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring timely submission and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and implement process improvements.
- Perform complex account reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and support month-end and year-end closing activities with precision.
- Partner with stakeholders in Japanese to resolve queries and maintain strong communication channels.
- Provide audit support and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards.
A Successful Senior RTR Analyst (Japanese Speaker) Should Have
- Proficiency in English and Japanese (min JLPT N2), both written and spoken. Candidate who is fluent in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of GL/R2R experience is preferred; candidates with 1 year of experience is welcomed to apply. Experience in project migration is an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of general ledger processes and accounting principles.
- Experience working with financial systems and software tools.
- Attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a professional services environment.
- Competitive annual salary of MYR 90,000 to MYR 120,000.
