Senior Rust Engineer, Futures

We are actively expanding our next-generation cryptocurrency exchange and seeking passionate, hard-working problem solvers to enhance our highly scalable, 24/7 trading system. As we continuously introduce new features and performance improvements, we need engineers who can drive innovation and optimize our platform.

In this role, you will collaborate with our Futures backend development team to enhance the exchange platform that has propelled Binance to become one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges. You’ll tackle complex and unique challenges associated with running a high-performance platform that serves tens of millions of users globally, ensuring seamless 24/7 availability.

We are looking for talented Software Engineers (7+ years of experience) to join our backend team and contribute to our world-class trading platform at one of our locations in Asia.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable backend systems, services, and APIs.
• Develop and refine the long-term vision for maintaining and scaling backend infrastructure.
• Design high-reliability services capable of handling significant traffic fluctuations.
• Monitor backend performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective optimizations.
• Write backend code that is fast, reliable, and highly secure.
• Maintain and enhance a rapidly growing test suite.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle complex challenges.
• Provide mentorship and foster best development practices within the team.
  
  

Requirements

• 3~15 years of software engineering experience, with a strong foundation in backend systems.
• Strong expertise in Rust or C++, with the ability to write robust, efficient, and reliable code.
• Proven experience developing multi-threaded and concurrent applications.
• Hands-on experience deploying software in production environments.
• Proficiency with Linux.
• Solid academic background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience scaling production databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB is a plus.
• Background in building trading systems (exchange experience strongly preferred) or systems with financial/security constraints.
