Summary

STERIS Healthcare Malaysia is looking for a Senior Sales Executive to drive growth in our CSSD Reprocessing business, covering both Capital Equipment and Consumables.

In this key role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with healthcare providers, and delivering tailored solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You’ll take an agile, insights-driven approach to uncovering opportunities, supported by strong market research, strategic planning, and execution.

You will also play a vital role in product marketing, implementation, forecasting, and budget management—ensuring our solutions deliver real value to hospitals and healthcare systems across Malaysia.

What You Will Do

  • Achieves revenue objectives for CSSD Capital and Consumables
  • Develops short and long-range goals and objectives that align with the strategic growth plans of STERIS.
  • Manages promotion and education activities, clinical trial, training, and workshops in Malaysia.
  • Oversees the creation of marketing and product management programs, processes, products and services oriented towards profitable future growth.
  • Establishes and directly manages relations with KOL, societies and hospital managements and other critical client accounts.
  • Monitors competitor’s activity and take necessary actions.
  • Develops processes to identify new business concepts for future growth.
  • Identifies leads and is responsible for new business initiatives.
  • Plans and executes new product launches.
  • Supports customers with technical assistance regarding application and use of products.
  • Replies to tenders, RFP and RFQ.
  • Develops and manages forecasts and budgets that align with goals and objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change. Optimize the work process to improve the efficiency.
  • Confers with Country Manager to review achievements and discuss required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
  • Handle other duties and responsibilities as are periodically assigned or requested.

The Experience, Skills And Abilities Needed

  • Bachelor’s Degree with sales experience in the Medical Infection Prevention industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully lead the sales and marketing efforts in a medium to large medical device company in Malaysia.
  • Previous experience in developing training and coordinating physician or customer events is an added advantage.
  • Leadership, communication and planning skills and ability to implement change to positively affect results.
  • Strong sales, product management and project management experience.
  • Customer oriented and results driven.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
