Senior Staff Engineer Component Verification

You want to take over responsibility for the specification compliance and meeting our customer expectations for new Infineon Intelligent Motor Control ICs (Multi-die integrated ICs)? Then join our team in Melaka as Component Verification Engineer! In this role, you are in charge of validation and characterization of new Infineon Intelligent Motor Control ICs during their whole lifetime working closely with cross-functional stakeholders from product design, test and application engineering as well as technology development and management.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Key driver and contributor to the implementation and execution of post silicon verification and characterization tests to ensure a complete and systematic verification / characterization for new automotive Motor Control ICs and Gate Drivers
• Plan and drive the post silicon verification activities and develop key innovative verification and analysis methods
• Define and develop automated solutions for system verification in close collaboration with the team
• Drive and solve technical problems and execute verification tests to assess new silicon together with application, concept, design and test engineers
• Drive, review and release verification concepts and specifications for new ICs during the development process in cooperation with the team
• Provide post silicon verification reports as basis for customer communication
• Drive and provide conclusive analysis on technical issues as well as verification requests from internal and external customers
• Drive continuous improvement on methods, verification approaches, automation and enhancements on way of working, focusing on accuracy, quality and speed
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A PhD / Masters / Bachelor’s Engineering / Science degree in Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics / Applied Physics or similar field of study
• At least 7-10 years’ working experience in semiconductor / post-silicon component verification/validation and/or device testing of mixed signal power circuits
• Solid knowledge of measurement technologies and methodologies
• Solid knowledge of high-power mixed signal semiconductor devices, applications

• Solid programming skills in VBA and MATLAB for control of instruments (PXI, power supply, oscilloscope, signal generators)
• Ideally solid experience with design, assembly, test and debugging of discrete & analog power circuit boards
