Job Description

  • Strategic Leadership: Develops and executes a Test Product Engineering roadmap aligned with the company's vision and mission. Creates strategies, business plans, and targets to guide the department.
  • Team Management: Builds and maintains a high-performing team, focusing on continuous improvement, problem-solving, and meeting customer expectations.
  • Process Improvement: Drives continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Collaboration: Works closely with Test Development and Test department leadership to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
  • People Development: Fosters a culture of ownership, execution excellence, and continuous people development.
  • Operational Excellence: Advances test efficiency through process, equipment, and methodology advancements.
  • Compliance: Ensures compliance with company regulations and standards related to safety, environment, labor, ethics, and quality.
  • Resource Management: Plans, monitors, and controls resources (manpower, machine, materials) to achieve department goals.
  • Quality and Process: Reviews, promotes, and monitors compliance to quality and process controls.
  • Financial Management: Prepares and monitors the department's budget to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Communication and Performance: Conducts regular communication meetings, performance reviews, and coaching to maintain a high-performing team.
  • Succession Planning: Evaluates leadership effectiveness and ensures a pipeline of talent for future succession.
  • Corporate Responsibility: Upholds the company's commitment to quality, environmental management, health, safety, and social responsibility.


The Successful Applicant

  • Must be a graduate of bachelor's degree in Electronics, or Electrical Engineering or any related field with commensurate experience in Semiconductor Test.
  • Master's degree in engineering is preferred but not required.
  • At least 10 years relevant experience in the electronics and semiconductors industry.
  • Analog Test experience highly preferred.
  • Excellent BU or customer interface and experience in leading a large engineering team.
  • Highly strategic, excellent team player, and a thought leader.
  • Has full knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, front line to backend operations.
  • Have excellent working knowledge of product applications and test building blocks and methodologies.
  • Lead, manage and motivate a large employee base from rank & file to leadership roles in a Test and Product Engineering organization functions.
  • Ability to sets priorities with the rest of the manufacturing support organizations.
  • Can strategize, plan, delegate and execute overall Test engineering plans, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong focus on metrics. Results driven.
  • Has strong sense of accountability, ownership, and urgency.
  • Has excellent communication skills from rank & file to top executives, written and spoken.
  • Demonstrates critical & analytical thinking, quick problem solving and objective decision-making skills.
  • Knowledgeable of Lean Six Sigma and Project Management methodologies.
  • Demonstrates a quality mindset of Zero-Defect.
  • Possesses the ability to coach and mentor employees of the department.
