Responsibilities

  • Responsible for test plan creation and execution, test case writing, and test report output
  • Analyse hardware and firmware requirements to determine feasibility within time and cost constraints.
  • Prepare and submit bug reports on progress and testing outcomes.
  • Make sure that quality issues and bugs are appropriately identified, documented, tracked, and resolved.
  • Perform manual testing - functional & non-functional testing
  • Work closely with different teams for scoping/sizing after clarifying requirements and create the strategy and technical design for quality delivery


Qualifications

  • Minimum diploma in Computer Science or other relevant IT studies
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience manual testing experience
  • Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect life cycle.
  • Familiarity with web and mobile technologies, database concepts, and API testing
  • Experience in bug and case tracking tools (Jira, etc.), version control systems (Git, etc)
  • Familiarity with various testing types like functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.
  • Printer-related product testing experience will be a distinct advantage
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are vital for identifying and reporting defects.
  • Knowledge of the Agile methodology
  • Knowledge of basic networking setup and configuration is an advantage.
