Qualifications & experience

• Typically, 3-5 years of relevant experience in construction supervision or related roles is required. This experience should ideally include hands-on involvement in managing construction projects from start to finish
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards specific to Malaysia Experience in coordinating and managing subcontractors and construction teams.
• Project Management: Experience in project planning, scheduling, and budget management Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget constraints.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement construction plans in accordance with project specifications Schedule and monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to timelines
• Supervision of Construction Activities: Direct and oversee daily on-site operations Ensure compliance with building codes, safety guidelines, and environmental regulations Monitor and enforce site safety practices and procedures.
• Quality Control and Assurance: Inspect work progress and ensure construction meets quality standards Address any deviations or issues promptly to maintain quality assurance.
• Resource Management: Manage and optimize the use of labor, materials, and equipment on site Coordinate deliveries and logistics to support construction activities.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of construction progress, inspections, and incidents Prepare daily reports, progress reports, and other documentation as required.
• Problem Solving and Decision Making: Identify and resolve construction issues and conflicts as they arise Make decisions that align with project goals and budget constraints.
• Team Leadership and Training: Provide leadership and guidance to construction workers and subcontractors Foster a positive and productive work environment on site Conduct training sessions on safety procedures and job tasks as needed.
