About The Job

This role is focused on performing service of prepared food & beverages equipment such as fillers, and other aseptic equipment.

Job Description

• Responsible for technical maintenance of Alfa Laval’s medium to high level complexity core components such as fillers, and systems at customer site.
• Participate in equipment FAT tests when equipment is ready for delivery to the customer site.
• Oversee initial setup, installation, start-up and commissioning of equipment, modules, systems and plants. Ensuring it operates according to contractual and technical requirements.
• Perform customer training on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshooting of equipment and identifying parts required for maintenance and replacement.
• Preparation of detailed reports for all service activities, including repairs performed, troubleshooting findings, parts required and used, and product test results.
• Fine tuning equipment and process related to achieving desired product quality.
• Execute performance reviews of installations already handed over to customers.
• Contributing any product and process improvements by reporting any opportunities or recurring issues.
• Identify potential after sales opportunity to maintain product lifespan and improve customer process operation.
• Work in a structured way according to safety requirements and quality standards.
  
  

What You Know

• Relevant Engineering diploma / degree from an established University or equivalent with competence to check, and test operational component.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in commissioning or maintenance of prepared food & beverages related systems.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Calm and able to maintain stable performance under pressure.
• Ability to work with people from all levels and different cultures.
• Willing to travel extensively overseas (100-200 days /year) and work on weekends and public holidays.
• Having analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform hands on maintenance on machinery.
• Ability to read P&IDs. Ability to read single line diagrams will be an added advantage
