What You Can Expect
Over the course of two years, you’ll get hands-on experience, be actively integrated into the day-to-day activities of your teams and gain a deep understanding of Siemens Energy. You'll rapidly build in-depth knowledge, discover solutions, and experience our business first-hand.
From day one, you will work on meaningful projects with three individually designed assignments, including one eight-month international assignment.
You will be paired with a dedicated mentor who guides you through immersive experiences, allowing you to shadow various roles and positions. This support system is designed to empower you to achieve your unique career goals while fostering substantial connections with peers and influential business leaders. Additionally, you'll gain access to a wealth of resources geared towards cultivating your professional growth.
As a candidate in the Controls and Digitalization (CD) department, you will work on innovative projects involving the design, implementation, and delivery of control systems and digital solutions for energy. You'll gain hands-on experience with advanced technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help enhance the efficiency and reliability of Siemens Energy's products. This assignment will provide a solid foundation in control systems and digitalization, along with valuable insights into the energy sector.
How You’ll Make An Impact

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.

How You’ll Make An Impact

- Design and Implement Control Systems: Develop control systems for various energy solutions, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards.
- Drive Digitalization Initiatives: Work on digital transformation projects, integrating advanced digital technologies and ensuring robust cybersecurity measures to enhance operational efficiency and data analytics.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with engineers, project managers, and other collaborators to deliver innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
- Support Project Delivery: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Strong analytical skills, innovative thinking, and technical proficiency, along with adaptability, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for learning, attention to detail, and commitment to sustainability will drive success in the graduate program.
- Significant practical work experience up to 36 months including knowledge from internships, working student activities or employment
- A master's degree or equivalent experience in Electrical engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Additional certifications or coursework in renewable energy, control systems, or cybersecurity are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 months of international experience gained through studying or working
- Excellent English skills to work in a multi-cultural environment, flexibility, and mobility during the program
