Job Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance in accordance with Factory and Machinery (Building Operations and Works of Engineering Construction) (Safety) Regulation 1986.
• Promote the safe conduct of work generally within the worksite.
• Inspect and rectify any unsafe conditions at the construction site.
• Correcting any unsafe practices.
• Checking subcontractors’ work to ensure compliance with the Act and the Regulations made thereunder are complied with.
• Liaise with contractor’s safety supervisors with respect to safety of work undertaken by subcontractors.
• Accountable for the quality, safety, health and environmental management and performance at the workplace and project site.
• Undertake special assignment, ad hoc functions and related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Diploma/ Certificate in OSH or equivalent;
• Must have valid Yellow Book;
• At least 3 years working experience in the construction industry;
• Knowledgeable in basic computer applications i.e. MS Office;
• Excellent knowledge and understanding in the EHS aspects of construction industry
• High level of integrity drives and result oriented
• Able to work independently under minimum supervision
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize to meet strict deadlines.
