Role Summary

The goal of the Social Media Intern role is to support and enhance our online presence by creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, and fostering online community engagement. This position will be part of the Innovations Team at Fire Fighter. You will work closely with the rest of the team towards the team’s goals of Fireproofing Malaysia.

Duties and Responsibility

• Assist in creating high-quality, engaging, and innovative content for various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Schedule and publish content across platforms with consistency and purpose.
• Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, ensuring timely responses to followers—be the voice that our followers love interacting with.
• Engage with followers and communities to create meaningful, authentic connections.
• Assist to track key performance metrics such as engagement, reach, and audience growth.
• Provide recommendations for optimizing campaigns based on performance data.
• Identify viral opportunities and create content that capitalizes on emerging trends.
• Maintain an organized content calendar and digital asset library for current and upcoming campaigns.
• Contribute bold ideas during brainstorming sessions and help us innovate every campaign.

As an Intern, you are required to possess the following criteria:-

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
• Knowledge and familiarity with major social media platforms and their best practices.
• Basic graphic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop) are a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a creative mindset.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
