Summary

Job Purpose/

We, Maersk Contract Logistics IT, are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop IT solutions that support the fast moving and ever-growing logistics businesses.

The Software Engineer will be responsible to develop and enhance several of our core warehouse solutions including, but not limited to WMS, RF devices, label printing, automation & etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and convert functional and technical requirements into system design.
• Perform application development, enhancement and testing.
• Provide technical support.
  
  

Required Experience & Skills

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree of Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in software development.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions in any RDBMS.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of at least one major programming technology, Java, or Microsoft .Net, or C / C++, or Web development, or HTML5 / JavaScript / jQuery and so on.
• Good communication skills.
  
  

Preferred:

• Experience in logistics or supply chain industry
  
  

Personal Traits

• Must be able to multi-task under pressure independently and deliver results within given timeframes.
• Willingness to travel
