Sincere IVF (Malaysia) is looking for a Staff Nurse to join our energetic Nursing team in Malaysia. Candidates with extensive experience in nursing can be considered for Senior Staff Nurse position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Department in ensuring smooth operations of the Nursing & Clinical Team.
- Assist the Head of Department in the scheduling of IVF nurses, maintenance and review of SOP, and monitoring of inventory supplies.
- Ensure that patients’ case-notes and investigations reports are ready before the start of clinic sessions as well as prepare listings of patients for elective procedures.
- Assist doctors from various disciplines to perform minor clinical.
- Assist doctors and provide nursing care to patients during physical examination according to patients’ conditions and ensuring patients’ safety at all times.
- Provide nursing care and screening programmes for women, including patient counselling.
- Provide financial counselling and education on operation and treatment procedures.
- Assist in observing and reporting patients' condition and progress during their recovery from minor procedures.
- Establish and maintain confidentiality of patients’ medical records at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Dispense medication according to doctor’s orders.
- Monitor, maintain and replace clinic’s equipment, instruments, inventories and supplies.
- Prepare and pack surgical items/instrument for autoclaving.
- Assist in billing when needed.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
- Ensure nursing care is delivered according to established standards.
- Participate in health promotion and education activities to promote and improve the health of patients and the community.
- Order medicine and other supplies.
- Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Valid Malaysia Nursing Board practising license
- Minimum 3 years nursing experience in clinical settings
- At least a Diploma in Nursing or equivalent (recognised by Malaysia Nursing Board)
- Prior IVF experience will be advantageous
- Enjoy interaction with people
