We are looking for a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to lead and guide a team of engineers building and operating the Connectivity Platform for Electrolux. As a technical leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems while mentoring and empowering the engineering team.
You will drive the evolution of infrastructure, tools, and processes to meet the demanding needs of our business and consumers. As the steward of operational excellence, you will lead initiatives that ensure both internal and external services meet performance, cost-efficiency, and resiliency objectives. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic oversight, ensuring the Connectivity Platform remains robust and future-ready.

We are looking for a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to lead and guide a team of engineers building and operating the Connectivity Platform for Electrolux. As a technical leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our systems while mentoring and empowering the engineering team.
You will drive the evolution of infrastructure, tools, and processes to meet the demanding needs of our business and consumers. As the steward of operational excellence, you will lead initiatives that ensure both internal and external services meet performance, cost-efficiency, and resiliency objectives. This role combines hands-on engineering with strategic oversight, ensuring the Connectivity Platform remains robust and future-ready.
What you will do:
- Champion reliability and scalability: Drive initiatives to improve the availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness of critical services across the entire service lifecycle.
- Lead technical strategy: Collaborate with engineering and leadership teams to define and execute on infrastructure roadmaps, architectural best practices, and long-term operational goals.
- Mentor and guide: Act as a mentor to engineers, sharing best practices, reviewing designs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Optimize operations: Enhance incident response processes, lead blameless post-mortems, and refine tooling and automation to reduce manual intervention.
- Advance platform capabilities: Contribute to and lead the development of tools and platforms that improve deployment pipelines, observability, and infrastructure as code.
- Collaborate globally: Partner with geographically distributed teams to solve complex problems and deliver reliable, scalable systems.
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure/site reliability engineering, with at least 2+ years in a senior or technical leadership role.
- Expertise in designing, building, and operating large-scale, distributed systems.
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and observability practices.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, or Go, with a strong focus on automation.
- Experience driving technical strategy, leading complex projects, and mentoring engineers.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team.
