Staff Specialist Final Test

We are seeking an experienced staff specialist to plan, organize, and control Test Technology Integration projects and sub-projects within Infineon. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in test qualification processes, project management, and cross-functional team leadership. In this role, you will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensure project milestones are met, and manage communication with various stakeholders to ensure the timely and successful delivery of projects.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Plan, organize, and manage the execution of TTI FT projects (classified as D and E) while ensuring all project targets (time, quality, cost, and budget) are met.
• Evaluate and manage project risks, impacts, and potential issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Lead and manage a medium-sized project team, including members from multi-functional groups.
• Provide guidance, support, and direction to team members to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Manage and control the entire project lifecycle from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless handover to the sustaining function at the end of the project.
• Monitor project timelines, quality, and resources to ensure successful and timely completion of all project milestones.
• Organize and coordinate the necessary activities and resources to ensure each project milestone is met on time.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to ensure the timely release of each phase of the project.
• Act as the key communication interface for project-related matters between Infineon Divisions (e.g., Business Lines), Sustaining Functions (e.g., PTE, EE, UPE), and Central Functions (e.g., Finance).
• Ensure transparent communication and timely updates to all stakeholders on project status, progress, and potential roadblocks.
• Utilize Infineon’s project management tools and methodologies to structure the project, track progress, report on status, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Lead problem-solving activities within the project using standard Infineon troubleshooting methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, etc.) to address and resolve project issues as they arise.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement effective corrective actions.
• Ensure that the Test Technology Quality System is adhered to, including test change management governance and TTI FT document management systems.
• Oversee the implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure the highest standards in test technology and deliverables.
• Drive the implementation and rollout of Test Technology Business Processes, ensuring alignment with global standards and company objectives.
• Manage process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Test Qualification Process.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in Project Management within a technical environment, preferably related to semiconductor or test technology.
• Familiarity with standard project management methodologies, tools, and techniques to structure and control project progress.
• Solid understanding of test technology processes and lifecycle.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and handling technical challenges in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Ability to drive problem-solving activities using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and other structured troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization with international teams. Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across functions and regions.
• Experience in driving business process implementation and improvement, particularly within the context of Test Technology.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring timely project delivery while maintaining quality and budget control.
• Experience with Test Technology Integration and Qualification Processes within the semiconductor industry.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.
• Understanding of test technology quality systems and governance.
