Staff Specialist SIEM Security Engineer

ECE Stack Management: Operate and maintain the Elastic Cloud Enterprise cluster (on our own infrastructure). You will oversee deployment, monitoring, and administration of the ECE cluster. You ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and optimize the SIEM infrastructure. You analyze system performance and implement necessary adjustments. Maintain and monitor system logs and alerts.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to the ECE stack and the ELK deployments.
• Logstash Management: You administrate, configure and manage Logstashinstances for data ingestion. You'll troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing.
• Collaborate: You work closely with our Defense Center team and the IT data center and networking teams to ensure seamless integration and operation.
• Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support as needed.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, IT Security or any equivalent course.
• System Administration Experience: 2+ years of experience in SIEM and/or system administration.
• ECE Experience: Experience with Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE) on private infrastructure. Experience with Docker container technology.
• SIEM Experience: Experience in managing and maintaining large-scale SIEM environments. In-depth knowledge of Elastic Search, Logstash, and Kibana is considered a plus.
• Linux Administration: Strong proficiency in Linux system administration.
• Scripting and Automation: Familiarity with automation and scripting(e.g. Python, Bash, Rundeck).
