Staff Specialist Supply Chain Planning

We are looking for a motivated supply chain planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for both short-term and long-term capacity planning, ensuring optimal alignment between demand forecasts and manufacturing capabilities. You will work closely with Business Demand Planners and Supply Chain stakeholders to resolve capacity bottlenecks and implement process improvements for greater supply chain efficiency.

Job Description

In your new role you will:

• Lead and manage short-term and long-term capacity and supply planning activities.
• Collaborate with Business Demand Planners to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and production capabilities.
• Work closely with Supply Chain Planners to identify and resolve capacity limitations or supply roadblocks.
• Develop strategies to manage production flexibility and implement capacity improvement plans.
• Track and report on capacity utilization metrics and progress of capacity increase initiatives.
• Coordinate and manage allocation decisions during capacity constraints to support business priorities.
• Actively participate in projects focused on optimizing supply chain processes, tools, and change management.
• Prepare clear and concise presentation materials for internal and cross-functional meetings, and present findings and proposals effectively to stakeholders.
  
  

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools – particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Basic knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with automation or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Python) is an added advantage.
