STORE MANAGER | MID VALLEY SOUTHKEY| JOHOR BAHRU

Main Role:
Reporting to Area Manager/Retail Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the overall daily operation of the store to maximize sales and profits by taking ownership and responsibility for all aspects of store operations, while playing an active role on the sales floor.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure store operational requirements as per set Standard Store Operating Procedure (SOP) and by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results all the time
- Maintain store staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results providing advice for staff performance improvement
- Ensure all the time excellent customer service and demonstrate strong selling skills
- Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to store staff
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards and ensure store windows and in-store visual merchandising are in line with brand’s guideline
- Monitor and maintain retail store inventory level and feedback to merchandising managers and brand managers up on sales trend and movement
- Attend to customer complaints and ensure they are tactfully handled
- Ensure 100% implementation of promotional and marketing event organized by brand marketing team
- Handle sales transaction in CEGID and ensure 100% accuracy
- Handle sales cash and follow set standards of cash deposit as per the company policy
- Control monthly store operational expenses such as petty cash / part time & overtime costs
- Train, monitor and develop Asst. Store Manager and Store Team as a successor
- Ensure proper stock receiving (physical / system) and processing and arranging as per set standard
- Perform weekly / monthly / yearly stock count and control process as per SOP
- Prepare and submit all monthly store expenses / invoices, and other reports to Malaysia Office
- Prepare and submit effective monthly staff duty roster, attendance report and other related reports and documents to Malaysia Office for payroll processing / Sales Tracking/ Prepare Daily / Weekly / Monthly sales report
- Support other operational or ad-hoc tasks assigned by the immediate superior / Area Manager /Head of Operation
Job Requirements:
- Good knowledge of fashion retailing with at least 3 years and above of store management experience
- Specialize in customer service with strong communication and presentation skills
- Solid ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high sense of responsibility and strong organizational skills, ability to recognize and react to changing work demands is required
- Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership qualities and managerial skills
- Confident, dynamic, proactive, sales-oriented, motivated with committed work attitude
- Computer literate and good numerical skills
- Able to speak and write in English & BM
- Commit to work on shift, long hours, weekends, and Public Holidays as needed
