Pre Contract Stage (Tendering)
- Analyze the tender drawing and BQ and do the site visit.
- Taking off quantities based on the drawing if required.
- Calling quotation from suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Assess the quotation and prepare the price comparison.
- Prepare the costing based on the design, price from suppliers and sub-contractors with the BQ provided.
- Fill up the tender document for submission to the client.
Post Contract Stage (Project Awarded)
- Prepare price comparison with the tender price and negotiate with the sub-contractors and suppliers for competitive price.
- Prepare progress claim & sub-contractors’ claim.
- Prepare the variation order (additional or omission works) if necessary.
Other Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate with client, contractor, consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers.
- Attend site visit, tender interview and site meeting.
- Follow up the status of tender.
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Construction or relevant field.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Good knowledge in project costing and contact administration.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skill.
- Independent and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Integrity and honest.
- Proactive, dynamic and good team player
- Candidates who are able to start work immediately are preferred.
