About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Storekeeper to join our thriving ML MOTO & LUBE SDN. BHD. team in Kuching Sarawak. As a Storekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient inventory management and stock control for our retail operations. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of our business.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, storing and issuing stock and materials according to established procedures
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and preparing reports on stock levels and movements
• Organising and maintaining the storage area to ensure efficient use of space and easy retrieval of items
• Liaising with department managers to ensure adequate stock levels and timely replenishment
• Conducting regular stock takes and reconciliations to identify and investigate discrepancies
• Assisting in the coordination of goods receipt and dispatch, including the verification of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Ensuring the security of the storeroom and the proper storage of hazardous or sensitive items

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records
• Ability to work well in a team and interact effectively with colleagues across the organisation
• Good problem-solving skills to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Familiarity with inventory management software and systems
