Tax assistant

We are an established Professional Firm located in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur (Opposite One Utama).

Job Requirements:

• Candidates are required to possesses either
• professional qualification or finalist of professional qualification (MICPA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CTIM)
• degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office specially Word and Excel
• Fresh graduates or those with less than 1 year full-time working experience are welcome to apply
• Must be computer literate; working knowledge in easytax software is an advance.
• Multi-tasking and being able to work under pressure.
• Team work with ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written in English, Bahasa Malaysia
• Proficiency in oral communication skills in mandarin will be an advantage
• Positive Attitude, analytical, self-motivated, organized and work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good time management, planning and organising skills

Job roles and responsibilities:

• Assist in tax compliance works - preparation and submission of tax returns
• Meeting, liaison and correspondence with clients Inland Revenue Board
• To handle the estimation of tax payable and revision of tax estimate and ensure timely submission of Form CP204 & Form CP204A
• To follow-up with clients on completion of assignments and keeping track of relevant deadlines.
• Inform clients of documents received from IRB
• Call and follow up on tax payment
• Manage the filing of tax documents into the tax files in a timely and organized manner
• Discuss and update the seniors and/or managers on tax assignments
