TAX EXECUTIVE/SENIOR

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of clients from various industries, compliance with tax submission deadlines.
• Perform and review tax compliance job scope for companies and personal as assigned.
• Identify, analyse and apply effective risk management techniques and offer advice on possible tax risks.
• Attend to any queries/tax audit from IRB or other authorities.
  Review tax computation and identify tax issues based on various taxation regulations.
• Perform review of work completed by junior to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Provide guidance and supervise staff in tax compliance and tax administration.
• Handle ad-hoc advisory and consultancy assignments
  Working as part of a cohesive team.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree and/or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Strong technical skills in taxation field and well versed in Malaysian Income Tax Act 1967, Tax Appeals, Public Rulings and Guidelines.
  For Senior position, minimum 1-2 years of tax relevant working experience is required.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and a good team player.

• Ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a motivated and energetic team
• Good analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and tax software.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin
• Fresh graduate is welcome to apply as well.
• Remuneration will commensurate with qualification and experience.
