  • Understand the day to day operations for the various product businesses of Confirmations team.
  • Perform Day today activities across OTC Derivative Confirmations Operations team.
  • Assist in production of various reports to be presented to Senior Managements
  • Manage front to back product oversight across functions as per the Country Support model
  • Supporting ad-hoc requests/projects/initiatives, on non-business days inclusive (if necessary)
  • Handle Day today BAU of OTC Derivative Confirmation Processes
  • Prepare MI to the process handled
  • Manage Client and Stake holder expectation
  • Snr Management reporting on periodic basis
  • Audit / Stakeholder / Client Liaison

Strategy

  • SCB GBS Malaysia Trade Control / Documentation hub supports more than 20 regional offices, covering a large array of Derivatives products ranging from Equity Derivatives, Commodity Derivatives, FX Options, Interest Rate Products and Credit Derivatives. With the visions in acquiring new developing markets and pioneering of new evolving products will transform the business into new heights. The department is currently supported by about 50+ staff across Bangalore, Chennai and Kuala Lumpur.

Processes

  • OTC Derivatives Confirmations Process – Across FX Derivatives / Commodities / Equities / Credit / Rates which includes Drafting / Matching / Exception Management and Query Handling

Other Responsibilities

  • Handle Day today BAU of OTC Derivative Confirmation Processes
  • Prepare MI to the process handled
  • Manage Client and Stake holder expectation
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Degree / Diploma or equivalent
  • Min 3-5 years relevant experience in financial markets operations.
  • Good Knowledge in SWIFT ie. Confirmations
  • Positive mindset, agile and well-rounded individuals
  • Strong problem-solving, data literacy, analytical and judgement skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office ie Word, Excel , Power Point
  • Flexible to shift hours (ASA/UK) ie.10am-7pm, 11am-8pm
  • Flexible to work on weekend as required by the business.
