Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 6 to 9 years of experience in AS/400 RPG IT Service Management DB2/400 CLP and AS400/COBOL. The ideal candidate will have domain expertise in Cards & Payments. This hybrid role requires a strong technical background and the ability to drive projects to successful completion.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and maintenance of applications using AS/400 RPG ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Oversee IT Service Management processes to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Provide expertise in DB2/400 to optimize database performance and integrity.
  • Utilize CLP for efficient job control and automation of tasks.
  • Develop and maintain applications using AS400/COBOL to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in the Cards & Payments domain.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in project planning and provide technical insights to ensure successful project execution.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and user experience.
Qualifications
  • Must have strong experience in AS/400 RPG IT Service Management DB2/400 CLP and AS400/COBOL.
  • Must have domain expertise in Cards & Payments.
  • Should have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Should have strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Should have experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers.
  • Should have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
