Job Responsibility
- Perform vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate tools
- Carry out repairs in accordance with manufacturer and company standards
- Conduct road tests to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition
- Maintain accurate records of all services and repairs completed
- Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and work areas
- Follow all health and safety procedures during operations
- Report additional faults or required repairs to the supervisor or service advisor
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workshop flow
- Attend technical training or briefings when required
- Physically fit to stand for long hours and lift heavy parts, with strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities to collaborate with mechanics and service advisors
- Fluent in English or Bahasa Malaysia (verbal and written) to communicate with team members and explain technical issues
- Minimum SPM/STPM or Technical/Vocational Certificate in Automotive
- SKM Level 2/3 (or equivalent) in Automotive Technology (preferred)
- Experience with hybrid/electric vehicles (EV training is a bonus)
- Brand-specific training (e.g., Toyota, Honda, Mercedes)
- Driving license (Class D for test-driving repaired vehicles)
