TELLER CUM ADMIN CLERK

• Currency Exchange: Process currency exchange transactions, including buying and selling of foreign and local currencies.
• Customer Service: Provide information and assistance to customers regarding exchange rates, transaction processes, and other related inquiries.
• Cash Handling: Handle and manage cash securely, ensuring accurate counting, verification, and storage of currencies.
• Transaction Recording: Accurately record and maintain details of transactions, including the amount exchanged, exchange rates, and customer identification.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism financing (CTF) laws.
• Verification of Documents: Verify customer identification documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Exchange Rate Updates: Keep up to date with current exchange rates and communicate any changes to customers as needed.
• Reporting: Prepare daily reports on cash flow, currency stock levels, and transactions for management review.
• Fraud Prevention: Identify and report suspicious activities or transactions that may indicate fraud or money laundering.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and management to ensure a smooth operation of the money-changing services.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:

• Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in finance, economics, or a related field is an advantage.
• Experience: Previous experience in a cash-handling role or a financial institution is preferred.
• Skills:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.

  • Ability to work under pressure and handle large sums of money securely.
