As our TEMPS PLANNING OFFICER you’ll support HID’s success by:

Summary

He/ She will be responsible to plan and determine the equipment use and schedule production run in the organization as professionally as possible base on the supply and demand needs. He/ She is responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of production process, developing a master schedule in consultation with management, and making sure that production schedule is on track.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Planning for production, and ensuring the right equipment are used according to the equipment matrix.
  • Keeping track of production progress, and ensuring planned production completes on schedules by monitoring daily and weekly production progress with the team
  • Provides confirmation of orders, and reschedules when necessary to customer service and sales
  • Coordinate with buyers and purchasers for materials requirements
  • Managing WIP by ensuring accuracy, and submitting adjustments for inventory re-conciliation
  • Generate and monitor workorder releases for production
  • Adhere to planning procedures and performance metric assigned by supervisor
  • Communicate and update shipment progress to management and sales
  • Taking corrective actions for behind scheduled progress, and re-prioritizing demands and production scheduling based on market changes and business requirements
  • Ensure on time delivery to customers based on committed schedule.
  • Ensure all activities are performed in a manner that does not create unnecessary environment impacts.
  • Comply with all environmental control procedures
  • Report or feedback environmental incidences or improvements needed.
  • Ensure all activities within their area of control is conducted in a manner that complies with environmental control procedures and does not create unnecessary environmental impacts
  • Monitor and ensure compliance to environmental operational controls and compliance with applicable legal and other requirements.
  • Communicate clear roles and responsibility for environmental control

Qualifications

  • Minimum of diploma/ degree of any field
  • Able to read and write in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Other languages is an added advantage

Education

Education and/or Experience

  • Product knowledge
  • Working experience in similar capacity in manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of administrative procedures

Language Skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
  • Must have the ability to perform additions, subtractions, etc
  • Other languages is an added advantage

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, power BI
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.

Customer Expectations

  • Proactive.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Understand the customer’s needs and demands, and react to the situation.

Work Requirements

  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel and fieldwork including international travel, therefore employee must possess or can acquire a valid passport.
  • Must be physically fit.
