About The Role
The IoT Platform Services team at Electrolux develops next-gen platforms supporting millions of connected devices. Our team of 7 test automation engineers collaborates closely with different product teams, including app development teams and firmware teams working on various boards like UI and others for different appliances.
What will you do:
The Automation Team within IoT & Platform Services, part of the Cloud Connectivity Platform, is looking for an Automation Developer to focus on automating connectivity tests for cloud services and connected devices. The role involves developing frameworks, automating end-to-end scenarios, validating protocols, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines. This position is key to ensuring seamless cloud-to-device communication and efficient testing of IoT systems. Additionally, the role offers the opportunity to work on the core of Electrolux's IoT system, which must handle many devices with high reliability and performance. Being at the heart of the IoT platform, this role provides the chance to tackle the challenges and leverage the opportunities of the entire IoT application value chain.

Who you are:
- University Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Programming: Proficient in Python, JavaScript, and/or .NET for backend development. Basic knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Backstage) is a plus.
- Automation & CI/CD: Experience in test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and application monitoring.
- AI: Familiar with AI frameworks for automating testing and enhancing cloud connectivity is a plus.
- Cloud & IoT: Familiar with AWS IoT, Azure IoT, Kubernetes, and scalable microservices.
- Testing: Knowledge of cloud-device communication protocols (e.g., MQTT, REST APIs).
- Hardware: Basic understanding of microcontrollers is a plus.
- Collaboration: Ability to work with cross-functional teams (app development, firmware, backend).
- Fluent English
