User Acceptance Testing Engineer (Automation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing user acceptance testing for releases and new projects within organization
• Develop test cases with users, product managers, and other teams
• In charge of collaborating with product managers and software development teams to suggest new designs and standards for various applications, assisting other analysts and teams with mockups and wireframes for a project
• Develop automation script to run repeated test cases and coordinate with development team.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects, working with development teams to resolve issues.
• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and generate reports on the testing progress and outcomes.
• Ensure that testing is aligned with user needs, product design, and technical specifications.
• Continuously improve and maintain the automation framework to support UAT processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement testing standards and best practices.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected by new updates.
• Provide detailed feedback on user experience issues and system performance.

Qualifications:

• Min Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on UAT for POS systems is added advantage
• Proficiency in using testing tools and software, familiarity with POS hardware and software, automation and SQL knowledge.
• Strong experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Browserstack, LambdaTest, Appium, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple stakeholders.
