Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Talent Scouts to ensure a seamless handover of shortlisted candidates for further evaluation and selection
  • Conduct cultural fit interviews and assess alignment with UOB’s values and team dynamics
  • Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience
  • Advise hiring managers on selection decisions, compensation benchmarking, and offer strategy
  • Manage the offer process, including salary proposal, negotiation, and approvals, ensuring alignment with internal policies and market competitiveness
  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with internal governance and external regulatory requirements (e.g., BNM, AMLA, FSA)
  • Partner with HRBPs and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and provide strategic recruitment support
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement
  • Promote inclusive hiring practices and support diversity goals

Job Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, with at least 3 years focused on banking or financial services hiring
  • Strong understanding of banking recruitment processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards in Malaysia
  • Experience with Workday HRIS is preferred
