Wellness Therapist

Key Responsibilities :

1) Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their individual needs, preferences, and any health considerations. Tailor spa treatments based on the client's specific requirements and health conditions.
2) Perform a variety of spa treatments, including massages, facials, body wraps, and other therapeutic and cosmetic services. Maintain a high standard of service, ensuring the satisfaction and comfort of clients throughout the treatment.
3) Stay informed about the spa's product offerings and effectively recommend products for at-home care to enhance the benefits of spa treatments.
4) Utilize and promote spa products in accordance with client needs.
5) Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards in all aspects of spa service, including the proper use and maintenance of equipment and tools.
6) Keep treatment rooms and spa areas clean and organized.
7) Educate clients on the benefits of spa treatments and provide guidance on post-treatment care and wellness practices.
8) Efficiently manage appointments, ensuring proper scheduling and adherence to appointment times.
9) Coordinate with reception and support staff to maintain a smooth flow of clients through the spa.
10) Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and advancements in spa therapies through continuous education and training.
11) Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for clients. Address client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
12) Collaborate with other spa staff, such as receptionists and aestheticians, to ensure a seamless and coordinated experience for clients.
13) Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and spa policies, including maintaining client confidentiality.

Job Requirement :

1) 5 working days with shift-type work schedules.
2) Bachelor's degree in Spa Therapist, relevant certification from an accredited spa therapy program, or equivalent certificates or experience.
3) Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Wellness Therapist in the Hospitality industry.
4) Strong knowledge of various massage and spa techniques.
5) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6) Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
7) Understanding of spa hygiene and sanitation standards.
8) Customer-focused with a passion for promoting relaxation and wellness.
9) Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
