INTRODUCTION:
We are now looking for Aggregates Sales Specialist based in Malaysia. This role will be responsible for Business Development of Direct and Distribution sales in their designated market area.
WHAT YOU'LL DO :
This role provides oversight for Aftermarket products and Capital Equipment business activities in area of responsibility as determined and directed by Head of Region. Key responsibilities will include:
Oversight: Provides general oversight for Aftermarket and Capital Equipment business activities in area of responsibility as determined and directed by Head of Region
Market Analysis: Conducting research to identify new growth opportunities within market area of responsibility and customer needs.
Strategic Planning: Developing strategies to achieve business growth targets and expand market share via direct and distribution sales channels.
Relationship Building: Establishing and maintaining relationships with distribution partners, customers and stakeholders.
Sales and Negotiation: Facilitating negotiations in partnership with end customers in closing deals to meet revenue objectives.
Product Development: Collaborating with product teams to enhance offerings based on market feedback.
Risk Management: Assessing risks and opportunities associated with direct market and distribution sales channels.
Marketing Coordination: Working with marketing teams to create campaigns that support business development efforts to maximise the company profile and brand in the region.
Financial Analysis: Analysing financial data and market trends to inform decisions.
Reporting: Providing regular reports on business development progress and challenges.
Networking: Representing the company at industry events and conferences to promote brand awareness and establish contacts
WHO YOU ARE:
Essential
Strong knowledge of the Aggregates and Construction materials industry
Good English speaking and writing skills
At least 5 years of direct selling and/or service in the South-East Asia region
Proven track record in achieving sales targets
Ability to work independently in the region
Intermediate level of computer literacy in MS Office
Must be physically fit
Must have current motor vehicle license and passport
Must be able to regularly travel nationally and internationally by motor vehicle and commercial flights
Commercial and market awareness
