As the Head of Maintenance, ASEAN, you will define and provide direction to all maintenance programs (PM/CM) and maintenance work execution standards including turnaround to maintain the assets and equipment achieving maximum reliability while optimizing costs at plants level. You will lead a multi discipline of Maintenance & Engineering team and contractors across ASEAN Countries to maintain all Linde manufacturing assets. Disciplines include rotating and fixed equipment, Electrical and Instrumentation, Controls Systems, Analyzers Maintenance, Warehousing, Planning, Turnaround, and Capital projects.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• In this role, you will lead and provide strategic direction for maintenance and turnaround activities across Linde's ASEAN operations, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective performance of manufacturing assets
• Furthermore, you will drive maintenance excellence by deploying preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and plant availability
• A key part of your role will be leading multidisciplinary maintenance and engineering teams, while developing capabilities and standardizing maintenance work processes across the region
• Additionally, you will oversee maintenance budgets, capital projects, turnaround execution, spare parts management, and contractor performance to ensure efficient and effective operations
• You will also collaborate closely with operations, reliability, and technical teams to drive continuous improvement, optimize asset performance, and strengthen safety and operational excellence across ASEAN
  
  

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

• A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
• At least 15 years of experience in maintenance, reliability, or engineering within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial Gases, or related process industries, including a minimum of five (5) years in a leadership role
• Strong technical expertise in rotating and static equipment, electrical and instrumentation systems, maintenance planning, turnaround execution, and asset management
• Proven experience in developing and optimizing maintenance strategies, including preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs, with sound knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP PM) and maintenance work management processes
• A strong commitment to safety, with a proven track record in leading safe work practices and managing contractors. Exceptional leadership and people development skills, with the ability to build, coach, and inspire teams across diverse cultures and locations
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
• A strategic mindset, capable of balancing long-term reliability objectives with operational and financial performance goals
