Key Responsibilities

Processes

Wealth Solutions Processes

  • Support the designing, reviewing and continuous enhancement of Wealth Solutions sales process to ensure efficiency, scalability while maintaining strong control frameworks.
  • Establish standardised processes and documentations across all wealth products and channels
  • Leverage best practices from other countries to simplify processes and ensure flawless execution and compliance.

Risk Management

  • Support business and work together with Business Risk Manager on internal incident/ breach report, Op loss, risk incident report by engaging appropriate stakeholders to ensure timely remedial actions; escalate key risk situations that pose significant risk
  • Support the roll out of processes and controls for WM emerging risks
  • Conduct risk - provide input / guidance into conduct plan & implement on behalf of business, preparation of conduct townhall content to ensure business units are aware of the Group Standards/requirement

Key Responsibilities

Governance

  • Support establishment and maintenance sales processes and policies for wealth solutions sales activities
  • Support WS governance forums which includes Product Governance and Risk forums for required escalations
  • Provide oversight on adherence to approved processes and frameworks

Regulatory & Business Conduct


  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

  • Collaborate with Sales Distribution, Product, WS Operations, CFCC, Legal and Technology team to ensure seamless implementation of processes and controls.
  • Influence and drive adoption of best practices across Wealth Solutions

Skills and Experience

  • Process knowledge on Wealth product and transaction
  • Process knowledge in banking system

Qualifications

  • Education - Degree holder, Preferably 6- 8 years of Banking experience in Wealth Management product and processes.
  • Languages - English, Bahasa Melayu, Chinese
