Variant Configuration Expert

In compliance to ISO standards 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2023
Purpose: Responsible for developing, maintaining, and testing product configuration models within the CAMOS CPQ 365 platform. This role ensures that product rules, guided selling logic, and configuration structures are accurately built to support commercial, engineering, and manufacturing processes. The position collaborates closely with global business experts, product engineering teams, and IT counterparts
Your role in our team:
CAMOS Configuration & Product Modelling

• Build and maintain product models, including rules, constraints, dependencies, configurations, and parameter logic within CAMOS CPQ 365.
• Interpret product requirements from engineering and transform them into structured, scalable configuration models.
• Develop and maintain configuration logic to ensure product correctness, usability, and alignment with engineering standards.

Guided Selling Development

• Convert global or regional guided selling rules into CAMOS modules that support sales teams in selecting the right product options.
• Ensure guided selling flows are intuitive, accurate, and aligned with commercial strategies.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct functional testing of product models and guided selling components to ensure accuracy and system stability.
• Collaborate with business experts (engineering, product management, sales) to validate correctness of configuration outputs.
• Identify defects, gaps, or inconsistencies and propose corrective actions.
• Maintenance of master data for a smooth sales process right through to the order in SAP.

Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Support

• Work closely with engineering, product management, sales, and IT teams to gather product data and validate configuration requirements.
• Support global/local teams during configuration rollouts, updates, or product launches.
• Provide feedback to improve internal processes related to configuration and modelling.

Continuous Learning & CAMOS Platform Expertise

• Participate in formal CAMOS training to build strong proficiency in CAMOS CPQ development platform.
• Stay updated with new CAMOS features, tools, and modelling best practices.
• Proactively drive improvements in configuration methodology, documentation, and quality.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Computer Science, Information Systems, related technical field with an Administration educational background may also be considered, provided they have relevant practical experience in large machinery or industrial environments.
• 3 to 5 years of working experience with specialization in CPQ systems, ideally CAMOS.
• As Key User of the CAMOS module, must be able to train users, provide system guidance, and support end‑user adoption.
• Experience with product configuration, rules‑based modelling, or engineering BOMs.
• Practical exposure to the machinery, manufacturing, automation, or related industries
• Understanding of configuration logic, product structures, rules, dependencies, and data modelling.
• Strong analytical skills and logical thinking.
• A team player that demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skill in English.
• Proactive, independent, and able to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Fast learner with interest in complex products and digital tools.
