Qualifications & experience

  • Minimum Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Commerce or equivalent.
  • At least 1- 2 years in performing Account Assistant role or any related field.
  • High Level of Accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to ensure that an office runs smoothly.
  • Possess low-level accountancy, financial systems and basic bookkeeping skills.
  • Computer literacy and a working knowledge of accounting packages and other relevant applications, such as spreadsheets.
  • The ability to function well in a team, as they need to provide support as needed.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Assist on Account Receivable and Account Payable.
  • Issue invoices, sales order and receipt once received payment from any customers or agents.
  • Collecting debts from customers & agents.
  • Update data from new customers & keep record (e.g Copy IC of the owner / trade license / SSM).
  • Update commitment of customers or agents.
  • Update outstanding report for customers or agents & submit it to management once in a month.
  • Filling the documents related to accounting (e.g Payment Voucher/ Invoice/ Receipt).
  • Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.
  • Assist and provide other administrative support and task.
  • Perform any tasks related to admin/account from time to time.
