Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing Invoices and Payments: Generating, distributing, and following up on invoices.
  • Collection Efforts: Contacting customers regarding overdue payments, negotiating payment terms, and working to resolve payment issues.
  • Dispute Resolution: Investigating and resolving billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
  • Credit Management: May be involved in assessing customer creditworthiness and implementing credit policies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Preparing reports on outstanding balances, payment trends, and collection performance.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement in the AR process and implementing strategies to streamline operations.
  • Collaboration: Working with sales, customer service, and other departments to resolve issues and improve customer relationships.

  • Analytical Skills: Analyzing payment patterns and identifying trends.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Resolving billing discrepancies and payment issues.
  • Negotiation Skills: Negotiating payment terms and resolving outstanding balances.
  • Organizational Skills: Managing large amounts of data and maintaining accurate records.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and other relevant software.
