Our client is a globally recognized leader in the skincare industry.
They are currently looking for a demand planning professional to join the team.
Job Description
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to develop accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business insights.
- Monitor and analyze forecast accuracy and adjust demand plans accordingly to minimize variances.
- Manage the demand planning process to ensure proper inventory levels and product availability across all channels.
- Identify and address potential demand risks, gaps, and opportunities, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Work closely with the supply planning team to align supply plans with demand forecasts.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards to track demand planning performance, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the demand planning process.
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in demand planning or a related role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong proficiency in forecasting tools and Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP/APO or similar systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data and develop accurate demand forecasts.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
