Purpose of role:


The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, oversee audit and tax processes, and maintain a robust internal control environment. The position requires a hands-on professional with a thorough understanding of local regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards


Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of complete financial statements, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll accounting, and fixed assets.
  • Prepare accurate, reliable and timely financial report and in full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform cashflow projection and assist in cash management and treasury function.
  • Monitor the accuracy and completeness of monthly accruals and provisions, ensuring no long outstanding balances.
  • Assess overhead standard cost periodically or when required.
  • Review invoices prepared by Account Executive and ensure timely processing of AP invoices.
  • Manage accounts receivable, including monitoring collections and handling inter-company fund transfers.
  • Ensure accurate and complete preparation of audit schedules, reconciliation statements, and other supporting documentation.
  • Prepare tax computation include deferred tax as per group requirements and comply with tax regulations.
  • Lead and manage statutory audits and tax return preparations, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Oversee timely submission of statutory records and filings, including but not limited to audited report, ETP, income tax returns, and annual returns.
  • Ensure compliance with e-invoicing regulations, including timely generation, validation, and reporting of e-invoices through government portals.
  • Ensure full compliance with all statutory matters such as withholding tax, SST (Sales and Service Tax), and other local tax requirements.
  • Ensure that all accounting and finance operations comply with internal policies and procedures.
  • Drive process improvements and support ad-hoc accounting and finance projects as required.
  • Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned by management.


Who are you?

  • Degree in accounting and/or ACCA or CPA equivalent professional certification with CA qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity;
  • In-depth understanding of financial reporting standards and statutory requirements.
  • Good knowledge of local tax regulations including SST, corporate tax, and withholding tax.
  • Practical experience with e-invoicing implementation and compliance under government regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills;
  • Deadline-oriented and ability to work to time constraints;
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Power BI, Planning Analytics, Oracle Fusion, or other ERP system
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • Positive, proactive growth mindset.
